Safe Passage Park (SPark) is a block-long community parklet that runs along the southern sidewalk of the 200 block of Turk Street.
Created in partnership with multiple City agencies and residents, this space was built during the Covid pandemic as the result of community engagement and a desire for increased space for walking, safety, and resources.
SPark provides much-needed access to outdoor play areas for local youth, space for nonprofits to offer resources and tabling, a calm and relaxation space for residents, and movement, arts, and health classes.
